shouldn't the power rating for the k series gears be a little higher? stock k series gear box can take more power than about 300whp going down the track with multiple passes

This is just a conservative rating for reliability.

Nothing is unbreakable, and there are so many variables involved when something goes wrong that it can sometimes be hard to determine what the problem was.

If we were to rate them higher and they were to break, it is always the manufacturer that gets blamed. It is never the end-users fault
