Default will rubbing compound solve my problem?

so the other day i sprayed an integra rear valance with duplicolor rattle can. it came out pretty good but i notices that it still has a slight roughness to touch. i sprayed some clear coat over it and i can still feel it a bit. do you think a little rubbing compound would reduce/eliminate it? also since its just been painted would it be wise not to put any kind of wax on it for a month or so?

I would say wetsanding it would be your best bet to get rid of the roughness. Follow that with a little buffing, polish it out and it should look and feel much better.

best i can tell ya is to load on another few coats of the clear. that's the only thing that will work. rattle can clear doesn't harden, so buffing it will destroy it. yes a little rubbing compound by hand might help, but barely.
