nope, you would run out of air, you'd need around 10 CFM @ 100 psi,

you may be able to spray one or twoparts at a time but not a complete car with that compressor

110v is what normal household appliances run off of. 220v is what a clothes dryer runs off of. Also, be sure that the house has a big enough service line if you want to use that compressor. I bet it needs a 30A circuit. If your house only has a 100A service, you might be in trouble.

just go to Home Depot or Lowes, they usually have 50 gal 5hp compressors for $399 ,you will have to plug it in the dryer outlet at the house, it should work for you just fine,

WTF are you talking about? HVLP and LVLP spray guns all run between 20-40PSI, and they only need around 9-11SCFM of air flow. 10 cfm @ 100 is for impact guns and ****. I think you need to learn a bit more about compressors before you try to hand out advise.

The best kind of compressor to get for painting is a large tank (most gallons) and preferably a 2 stage compressor. However, the minimum requirements for most spray guns is 9 SCFM @ 35PSI as an average, so shoot for around that.

people paint cars with air straight from compressors? i would never use anything but a downdraft booth and an air line with a moisture collector. prep and using the right tools could make an amateur painter look like a pro.
