ok so i have a small quarter panel scratch bout 5 inches long all the way to metal but didnt damage the metal per say. and i slight ding in the door too which im sure with heat i can easily pop back out. my question is goin low budget repair can i run duplicolor automotive primer after its sanded smooth with a factory milano red duplicolor rattlecan (obviously take my time and do it well and several layers) with a duplicolor clear coat to match my milano red paint on my prelude? or is it going to stand out horrible? over all could be a $100 project but still would i get close to factory paint color so i dont have a giant patch of mismatch on my quarterpanel?
