Icon2 Rust Removal?

K i'm taking care of some surface rust in the bay before i re-do the paint and i've seen tens and tens of rust removers, neutralizers and converters. What is the proper use or situations for these? what would be the best one for my application. (battery fuse box area) so no submersing ones.

you need to sand/ grind the rust back to clean bare metal...
then you can use filler to make it smooth then prep it for paint.

that is the ONLY correct way.

Thanks For your answer i've seen your posts on the topic before and i think i still have some questions. i will be working on an eg bay where the battery and fuze box used to be and in the areas where and angle grinder can reach i will be using a drill bit and there will still be crevasses where two pieces of metal meet. would a product such as picklex or rust mort be a safe bet to help out where i cant reach?. i can post a picture later today

yes that looks good because i can see some runs coming from a seem or two in the bay and just want to do a decent job of grinding and sanding before i try a chemical on the rust.
