Removing remaining residue from sound deadening material.

Removing remaining residue from sound deadening material.
I used dry ice to remove sound deadening material from my car. Some parts came off perfectly while other parts not so nicely. Using primitive tools (I don't have power tools), how would I remove this gunk? I will not be repainting the interior of my car, I just want this gunk removed.
Any help is appreciated!

Thank you! This is my first time doing anything regarding paint -_-
Would I apply it and let it soak?

Just remember that kerosene is EXTREMELY flammable, dont smoke wile working with it, and keep it away from any open flames as the vapors can explode.

A painter friend of mine gave me this stuff called Goop Off or something close to that. I will try to post pictures later once I get more cleaned off. It's working very well!
The product is water-based (like soap) and non-toxic

Paint stripper works great,
i use it for everything
from degreasing motors to cleaning floorpans
spray can form is alot eaiser to use but the goopy tubs work well too, jus be sure to wear gloves and a mask...harmful vapors and skin irritant....
gl man...
my pass side done using paint stripper

after you removed the paint with the paint stripper did you prime it or paint it afterwards?

I used brake parts cleaner and a rag, just be sure to leave your doors open so you don't pass out from the fumes. **** kills your head.
