Default Putting decals

I wanted to put on the DOHC VTEC decal on the side of me car....the little one that goes on the side by the door opening. I was wondering if there is anything special prep work i should do, or if it just as simple to just clean the area and toss it on there.....any suggestions would be helpful...thanks

Default Re: Putting decals (slvrlude)

clean the area really well with soap and water.. then use a wax and grease remover to remove all oils/waxes/etc.. measure distances on both sides of the car, and use masking tape to frame out the proper position. put on the decal, work from the center to the outside so there are no air bubbles. most importantly... GO SLOW. take your time. putting on decals is just like anything else paint/body related, it's all in the prep work.

**edit** btw, i see your signature.. get rid of the n00b sign by changing your avatar. go to "My Profile" at the top of the page and then "Avatar".
