Paint On Condenser Questions
1995 Civic EX coupe, M/T, B20B engine
My car was painted a month ago (red pearl) and the person who painted it appearently didn't bother to cover the radiator and condenser coils before painting. The radiator coils don't have much pain on them at all but, there's several spots on the condenser where I can't see through the fins and clearly see a build-up of paint. I spoke to him about it and he will take a look at it this Saturday. Would like to find out in advance what is the best way to remove this paint/clearcoat?
Another issue is last week sprinklers at my place sprayed hard-water stains on most of my car. I didn't have time to wash them off that morning and they became sun-baked on. Stopped by an automotive paint supplier and they checked out the hard water stains and tried out this product with a cloth: Fowler's One-Step (petroleum base). It worked well but didn't remove all of them from the hood and top of car. He asked if I have a power buffer..which I do but, can't find. It's a cheap-o one speed walmart type. Anyway, I also informed the person who painted my car about this issue and said it should buff out without removing clear coat. last week I used a microfiber towel and the one step polish and remove almost all of the stains except the hood. Any suggestions or comments?
