Default need some advice (repairing poor body work)

well i just got this hatch a few weeks ago. teal 92 dx hatch. i guess it was previously hit on the right rear corner panel and somebody TRIED to fix it (looks almost like a home job)

the rear quarter panel was damaged, the door was pushed out a little, and there is some damage on the lower front fender that wasnt fixed (may have been dented after the repair)

who ever did the body work didnt do a good job at all. theres orange peel out the ***, they didnt stay true to the body lines, theres over spray and you can see where they taped it off on the hood.

i was wondering what would be the best way to get all this repaired. maybe get somebody to cut and weld part of the rear quarter panel? or would it be easier to get some bondo work done to it. i have no experience doing body work, so unless it is an easy fix, i cant do it at home.

here are some pics of the damage:

it is hard to tell what was damaged in the pics, but its very apparent in person. so should i get somebody to cut and replace the quarter panel? or just get it reshaped? im clueless when it comes to body work so help would be greatly appreciated

I dont see anything wrong with it other than some texture in the paint.... I would give it a wetsand with 2000 then buff and call it a day.

By the looks of that texture... i would hit 1000 to begin with.. then 1500 and finish with 2000 and buff it!

I would get a quote from a body shop. Hopefully isn't that bad underneath the filler. They should be able to reshape it. Since the person who did that repair obviously can't paint or do bodywork. If you have no experience i wouldn't tackle this.
