How much paint?
I talked to a really good painter the other day, he said most painters do a car with about a gallon plus reducers and he can do it in 3/4 gallon with reducers. just to be on the safe side, go with a gallon.
since your asking this question your probably somewhat of a beginner, and definitely would reccomend going with 3 quarts reduced(for base.clear). depending on what type of gun you have(material consumption), how well your spray technique is, how much coverage your getting out of your paint(color is a major factor), and what type of paint your spraying(single stage, solid, metallic, pearl), and if your using sealer is all going to effect how much material you use. Its best just to be safe and get a little more paint than you need than to run out near the end.
