So i got a new carbon fiber trunk, but the person who had it before me had black paint all along the edges and i want to remove that black paint, any suggestions would help...here is what i have tried.

Goo Gone, 1000 grit sand paper.

and i am getting it sanded and re-clear coated after this paint is off. anything helps, thanks.

 

idk about cf stuff but whenever I had overspray (sometimes pretty bad lol) i used brake fluid, let it sit for a while like 5min then whipe off or scrub if its that bad
