Default help asap

hey everyone i am doing a minor wire tuck on my integra and i kinda got started.\my question is, how safe is it to run the wires like this.....

I am going to extend all the wires and keep it right agenst the well into the fender liner and into the bumper. bunge around the whole i hve made to prevent shorts. the fusebox is through the factor hole in the firewall.

i am curious cause im not looking to do a complete wire tuck since the car just got painted 3 months ago, but i am not willing to sacrifice safty.

im hopeing this will be ok. i was working on my motor and got bored so i decided to clean up the engine bay alittle bit.

if you're going through all the trouble of extending the wires, why not run it up through the frame?

I'd be worried about it getting torn out by the UCA, or even road debris flicked up from the tires.

i was gona run them up through the fender but in order to do thati have to take my dash board out and pull the wires back through the firewall then into the fender.and since i was only doing a half tuck i decided to take a shortcut. im thinking im gona double up tthe plastic cover and leave it. thanks for the input everyone. i put the hub on and raised it to the top with a jack and the uca is about 2cm away, i mounted the wires and they dont move, now i just gota check for wheel rub. even though i have signs of rub in there

On my old hatch the guy I bought it from ran wires like that and about a week after I had the car the tire started rubbing the wires and I had to go through and fix it all. Just do yourself a favor and either run it through the frame or leave it stock for now.

Sorry that looks like ****. Its also going to cause all kinds of problems. You should hit the wiretuck/engine bay thread and start doing some homework. That and spend five minutes pulling your fenders.

Wire tucks have to be done with an ocd level of attentioon to detail or they are going to cause nightmares.

ill test my luck, im running axis og wheels that are 8 inch wide and they dont come any closer then 3 inchs when its on the ground. with the motor it should be 2. i think my main worry is corrosion, but even then i got that covered already.

and if the time comes when it does fail. i got enough slack inside the engine bay to just cut them extend them and run them up into the fender to meet with the rest of the wireing.

thanks anyways guys ill let you know next week if i get any signs of rubbing once i got the new motor in.
