Default Fixable without welding?

I parked in parking structure for work came out and saw this. it happened about a month ago, i want to fix it, is it better to buy a new car without rear quarter panel damage or is this a viable fix?

thanks in advanced!

definitely doesnt need to be welded. well sorta, id use a stud welder that welds on copper studs and then use a slide hammer to pull it out. its going to take some playing with.

The rear quarter panel is accessible through the trunk. Do you grind the weld marks off the rear quarter panel after you've pulled them out? If so then it seems like you might still have to bondo this area? Wouldn't it be more viable to just push the dent out as much as possible and then just bondo smooth, thanks in advance!

Edit, anyone in socal willing to take a look at this?

youre going to need bondo either way. you could try to push it back out. but i own a 95 prelude and have done rust repair in that exact spot and its not the easiest spot to get to from in the trunk. it is doable tho.

I have no idea. Im not a body shop. Id say you need to repaint your whole car if youre going to paint that 1/4 panel. From what I can see, your paint is pretty seasoned. Fresh paint on just the 1/4 would stick out like a sore thumb.
