Default Fast, Medium, or slow??

Im ready to order the hot rod flatz paint and i dont know which i need the fast, medium, or slow kit? Im in PA and the temp should be about 70 when i spray it.

That's interesting, I was using the search feature and your post just appeared, when I hit the back button. Probably cuz you just created it. Anywho. You're going to want to use the medium reduced/reducer for temperatures around 70 degrees. On each of the different kinds, on the tech sheet it'll tell you which temperature frame to use which product.

Fast is for cold temperatures.

medium is for room temp

slow is for hot temperatures

this is just a generalization though. Look at the tech sheet.

yea i knew them at one point but forgot what the temps where. Thanks for the help.

What type of primer should i get? It is urethane paint.

you should be alright with most any 2k primer. PPG, dupont, spies heckor, sikkens

i'd say medium would work best. if you are working in a temp controlled facility, you can use the fast. i used the fast hardner, and it was in the middle of feb/march when i painted mine. i wouldn't do that again, unless it was temp controlled at least.

everyone has there own style . i am a painter in the west chester area unless its like 90 out side i would stick with the fast and a splash of accelerator. it'll prevent runs or sags in the clear
