Dent pulling
This is my first time in here, so be eay on me. I've done some searching but need to better learn how to pull dents with a electrode + slide hammer.
Here is my thread in the Accord forum:

Does anybody have any secrets to using the manner of dent pulling? Somebody in my other thread also mentioned dry ice. I would like to learn, there isn't alot on the interweb about it, at least that I could find

what dients are yuo pulling where are they and how bad?
using a stud gun (what you just discribed) is not that great idea, unless there is no possible way to get inbehind it, beucase it burns the protecting barrier off and will eventually rust, also it can apply to much heat
You want try using the hammer off dolly method and that should raise it, just work away with it and keep blocking it out, just dont stretch the metal to much

Reference the thread link I posted before, the pic of the dent is towards the bottom of the page.
The problem is I can only do so much with the hammer and dolly because of the double paneling and the fact that I don't even know where the high and low spots are supposed to be.
I went to a junkyard today that allows you to cut stuff so I'm going to cut out the quarter and reweld.

I know. But luckily my dad is an experienced welder and I have alot of time welding with him and from taking it for a year in school.
I'm guessing I would use the mig. Should it be done in spot welds or full beads?

I use 23 mig wire, but I like to weld hot(high setting), because it lays a flat strong weld(penetration is key). You would use plug/spot welds on the edges/pinch areas, and stitch weld across your rocker panel, and sail panel. Good luck

This is probably going to sound bad. What is the sail panel?

The sail panel is where the quarter panel meets the roof. Most people would have asked that question, I'm just so used to talking technical terms day in and day out working at a high volume body shop.
