How much should I be looking at total for primer/base/clear?

I was pricing out about a gallon of each from Alsa, and it came to $717.

Does that seem normal?

Also, anyone know where I can buy Alsa in Canada?

im not to sure about ALSA. are you buying epoxy and surfacer ? and like what base and what clear.

im halfway into a full color change on my S13 silvia and im using PPG's omni plus line for my primes, and bases and clear. and the epoxy was i think 11$ a quart, surfacer was 17$ a quart , color was 42$ a quart and the clear was like 39$ a quart. primes need hardners ( cant remember the cost, there cheap though )

remember though, your going to be needing reducers, wax & grease remover, sand paper or scuff pads,tape plastic prep, flex additive for bumpers, etc... im sure there are a few things that im forgetting i just got home.

 

hmmm when my freind painted my civic, use nice quality paint, i only paid like around 300 for everything, include sand paper and bla bla

 

I've got all my other supplies minus paint. I'll look into it - it seemed really high to me as well.
