Default Core radiator support replacement

2002 Honda Civic coupe LX

My girl crashed my A to B (now my project) and tbh I wasn’t mad at all mainly because I been wanting a reason to get under the hood and see what I can learn about the anatomy hands on, but to cut it short I stripped down the exterior shell of my Honda to find out only my radiator support is damaged. It’s bent in at the hood latch, so I went and brought a new radiator support because that is the only part of the car I assume needs replacing besides the shell. I need help on what tools I may need for the job, and if anyone can help with some tips to help save a little bit of money in the process it will be greatly appreciated. I’m no mechanic and I don’t know very much about mechanic work or the lingo so if you can dumb it down for a simpleton like me it’d help.
