So I've searched and searched, but I'm not even sure what to call the piece I'm looking for. I'm about to buy a CF trunk and I'd like to know who sells the CF license panel that goes into the trunk. I don't want to just put a black one in there, I think it looks tacky. I know they exist, I've seen at least 2 cars on HT with it. If someone could point me in the right direction or maybe drop a manufacturer's name I would appreciate it.

Edit: I was told by a member that they bought it off someone with a full CF trunk and they thought a new trunk would come with it. I called VIS. It does NOT come with a new trunk and as far as VIS knows you have to just paint yours black. They claim they know of no-one making a CF one.

Could awlays buy a sheet of Carbon Fiber, make a template and cut it to fit out of the sheet. I actually did it for my friends STI. It came out looking pretty descent.

are you talking about resin and real cf or just those ricer vinyl crap?

 

A sheet of real carbon fiber.

 

TAP plastics used to sell carbonfiber by the foot, you could just wrap your stock piece.

Not sure if the weave pattern will be the same though.
