Default Can one remove key marks?

Like this? The scratch goes into the paint.

I have read that you can fill it with touch up paint then micro sand it out and wax...

what happens to the clear coat in the area after you have wet sanded it? how you repair that clear coat?

thanks

i done this before, just sand LIGHTLY with 1500 or 2000 grit sand paper(use a block sander not your fingers) and keep filling in paint where it is needed. the clear coat around the area should be fine as long dont cut too deep and into the paint. then i used a buffer, polish and wax from wal-mart n buffed it till it shine. 6 months now and no problems with oxidation or anything

-Buy OEM touch up paint. Make sure if you have pearl/metallic to shake the paint really well before using it to make sure u get pearl on the brush.
-Buy Mequiars Uni Grit 1500-3000 grit
-Sand it even with the paint
-Buy quality polisher/polishes
-Apply some clear to the touched up area
-Sand more
-Polish to remove sanding marks.

That's basically in layman's terms.

it's difficult to see in the picture, but does it go through the clear coat and stop in the paint, or does it go through the paint into the primer?
