Bumper Kit
ok so i'm redoing my whole car and peicing together my own kit.
I want to have a drift/show car so i'd like to find a bumper with a lower ground clearance so what do you guys know of?
I've been shopping ProCivic and not sure what to go with....is Extreme Dimensions a reliable company?
post up guys.....pics are a plus!

I myself love body kits of all shapes and sizes. There are a lot of people around here that don't like them and will try to convince you not to get one. There are also people around here that don't like them, but respect people that make choices that make them happy. And that's really what this is about.
Not sure what kind of car you have, if you told us it might help. Almost all body kits are going to have a lower (less) ground clearance then stock bumpers.
It all comes down to what styles you like.
I have purchased items from extreme dimensions and have been satisfied with them. They are pretty standard stuff. Nothing exciting. If you purchase from them, then you're going to have to trim and fit the kit to your car. It's not going to be one hundred percent perfect.
i have a 96 Civic coupe.
i want to keep it lowered but go for a drift/aggressive look that is also show worthy
i like body kits alot, but only well done ones....i'm not a ricer at all! but i do want to stand out. I want to make a statement with my vehicle because its what i'm good at!
so shaving and trimming.....thats what she said. lol
how bad is it usually?

I hate body kits, but that's just me... However, CWest does make some pretty nice lip kits for our cars, I think you should check it out, you may find just what you're looking for
I would stick with cwest, I'm actually considering one of their kits for my em1. Greddy makes a nice front lip but its pretty tall so it won't be hard to scrape on everything. Wings west also makes them, however they're usually a little on the "ricer" side.
yeah, i think dropping 500 on a bumper legitamizes the purchase quite a bit!
i'll prolly buy the hybridaero bumper from CWest with sideskirts and a bumper....just gotta look into that a little bit more.
but i'm good with the megan racing aluminum dual level spoiler! :D

not a fan of kits but if you are looking into getting one i would try and stay away from fiberglass kits, i would go with a poly one. and how are you going to drift a front wheel drive car?
z- heres a little something i found, i mean it's not the impressive, but it gets the job done.

i think i read that the CWest Hybridaero products are poly/fiber combos....very flexible and less likely to break than fiberglass.
Spray-i'll be checking on those tonight
I'm making up a budget list for my whole car, Yeah Microsoft Excel FTW! i'll prolly end up throwing some graphs in there

^^^not a bad looking kit at all... I'm really not big on anything that makes the bumper look like its trying to eat me. every rice kit puts huge vents in everything and it take away from the appearance of the car IMHO. Im still in for CWest
yeah, the only reason i'm in for the fender vents is to get a higher airflow going through the engine bay. lol i definetly think ricers look for that agressive sharp look....
heres a link of the CWest i'm looking at:

i like it, it will push the airflow down and then the diffuser will do it's job. :D
and not really ricer IMO.
