The paint variations aren't a big deal since you aren't trying to match your existing paint. Without another one next to it, you won't be able to notice the difference between one variation and another. You can go to a body shop or paint supply store and have them show you color cards of each of the variations and you can pick which you like best. Milano Red, at least on the Del Sols, is a tri-coat color. To reproduce the depth of the color, you'll have to buy extra material and spray an extra coat. Milano Red is available in a base/clear but it doesn't have the depth of the tri-coat.

I have a Milano Red Integra GSR. Collision damage, and the shop used the base/clear approximation of it to repaint part of the car. It perfectly matches the real tri-coat under some light conditions, but is obviously different in others. That's the beauty and penalty of a tri-coat, it changes color under different light conditions.

In my case, at least it matches in direct sunlight.
