bad paint??

Default bad paint??

does any one know what these light brown spot are? it used to be spray can sprayed over it because it was keyed and the previous owner used spray can to spray over what an idiot. when i got it i wet sanded the spray out and buffed then the brownish spot was shown. do you think the clear coat is gone or the spray can paint ate the paint?

looks like faded paint or some sort of epoxy primer

you "burnt " the paint, Too much wet sanding and buffing, the only way to fix is to respray.

I'm just new here from like 20 mins ago all the way from belgium ^^ so i don't wanna seem like some wisy guy .. but there is a way to fix those stains without respraying it.

Allthough Mugencivic is right about the "burnt" part it's not all the way through the paint, the bottom layer should still be good. I've seen those stains here at work too and the only product i know of that can fix it is this one:

Sorry for the quality, it was taken with crappy cell phone
Now i dunno if you can get ur hands on this product in the US but if u really want it instead of respraying i'd be glad to send u some

if anything that could possibly only slightly hide it, but when you wash your car that will come off, when you burn the paint you go throw it so repainting is the only option to return it back an orginal looking finish.


(That is not a "Stain" its the buffer burning into the finish.)

i looked at the spot again today i found a tiny part that look like it peeling, like if i scratch it ,it will peeling more.

nvm i tried waxing it with a pad it come off little by litte so i guess there still paint on it. ill just go to sears or something to get me a power ball and just get those thing off slowly. hope it works =/
