Default Anyone know of a solid deep black paintcode?

I'm looking to paint my car a solid deep black color (no pearls/metallics). So black that it makes other black cars look grey . But anyways the only car i know of that comes close to that kind of black is a bentley or a rolls. Any suggestions of other cars paintcode? TIA

I dont know for sure but IIRC, BMW has a pure black with no pearl or metallic and is supposedly the darkest OEM black color. Or is might be Porsche, lol. I'm pretty sure it was BMW though.

For some reason I want to say from a E46 3 series but I am not 100% sure. I know it was discussed on HT before.

Looking at BMW's site now and the new 3 series has a color called Jet Black. From the pictures it looks close to what I'm talking about

Why not get Bentley Black? I have seen hondas painted that color before. Search "Jon Tanji" Or "JDM Jon" I know for a fact that his EG Hatch was painted Bentley Black.

But remember the paint is just one step of the process, to get the coloring that you are looking for you will want to look into colored primer, application technique, possibly single stage. Etc etc.

BASF D403 or any high quality pure black straight from the tint can. Black will look the best when used with a high gloss/quality clear. Flat sanded, buffed to perfection and properly cared for.
