STi and Evo owners chime in.
I'll be purchasing either an 05' STi or an EvoVIII come spring time. I've done my research on both forums, nasioc and evolutionm.net, and have read up on all the pros and cons of both cars. To the owners of either of the two cars, what made you choose the car you did? whether it be cheap looking interior of the evo, or the high seats in the STi.
edit - Didn't realize i was in A/C - thought i was in GDD.

Ya, mine is modded and I dont have a warranty...I'm at 28K miles and it's feeling like I'm going to have to replace my clutch here pretty soon (the previous owner drove the car super hard, and I'm not an angel with it entirely either though ) I'm sure the clutch would last longer if I babied the car all the time, but it's an STi, I'm going to drive it like its one...not like it's a Kia
But before I bought the STi I was looking at evo's as well, and there are a 4-5 local guys around me that drive Evo's as well, most of their tranny's have already been replaced....I have also read that Evo owners are having a hard time getting Dealerships to honor warranty agreements as well...
Consistent tranny problems and horrible customer service
Subaru's Patented AWD system
But thats just me...

STi !
im picking it because it has always been one of my dream cars.
& the most important reason why im picking a Sti over an Evo
is that i have an Initial D card & Maximum Tune card both STi's .

sorry b18c5, I was talkin to hondafiend, I made my post right after you made yours.
hondafiend, that's pretty incredible, pushing 400hp and theyre still validating your warranty, nice.
