SEMA 2010: 1700+ photos!
Posting this in Other Vehicles since Honda was a minority at SEMA. The show was bigger this year, I'd say that it has recovered to where it was ~4 years ago before the industry went down hill.
I think there were mostly Mustangs there, followed by Camaros. I saw 1 EG hatch and one EK hatch and one Teg lol. Overall the Japanese imports seemed to be less than previous years, but maybe that's just because the rest of the show grew so much. Euros were pretty big, a lot of BMW's this year.
What was hot for SEMA 2010: Flushness everywhere, Satin paint/wraps, Concave wheels are just starting to become popular vs of huge lips with flat faces. Also satin finishes on wheels, as well as color matched wheels. There was a lot more turbo'd cars than in years past too. Domestics were definitely the majority of the show this year.
What was not: 'Rat rods' were scarce this year compared to previous years... or people are just finishing them now into Hot Rods, which there were plenty of. Huge Heavy Chrome Wheels are finally being replaced by more polished, machined or painted wheels, often in 2 or 3 piece instead of cast. (It's about time!) Japanese Imports were looking a little weak this year, drowned out by Mustangs & Camaros. The upper level of the South Hall, for 4x4 and offroad, was also not back up to the massive size it was before the industry began to hurt a few years ago.
Anyways, here's the link to the gallery of 1700+ pics:

enjoy and feel free to pass that link around and hotlink any pics you want to call out

Re: SEMA 2010: 1700+ photos!
had tome time tonight to link some pics... Here's some of the cars that really stood out to me:
maybe my favorite car of SEMA
yeah it's just a Charger but what a huge difference a facelift can make
one of many Camaros... THis one wasn't too wide or too low... just right
This Caddy was in PPG's booth
beautiful '63 vette
Didn't get much light on this Mustang, but check out that engine bay
Forgive my blur... there was a ton of people around the mustang above and this vette
Yeah... it was converted to mid-engine!
A pair of E30's parked out front
another nicely done Mustang
I dunno, it just looked so authentic in person
Widebody Cobra
Drifting Mustang and Jumping Raptors
A decent grocery getter

That's awesome man, thanks for sharing. I can't even begin to wrap my brain around some of that stuff. Wow!
So far some of my favorite cars of Sema are; the classic white Benz with the modern touch, the RTR-X, and the blue Starlet.

Thanks for the pictures! I was browsing other pictures on a different site and couldn't help but think that the way some of the cars at SEMA were crafted shows that there's less ingenuity and creativity in these designs. Some cars are flat out tacky and horrendous, but others just make me melt, like the older Mustangs OP pointed out.

Not trying to thread jack, but since it's all related...
Just wanted to share this link here. SpeedHunters did a little feature on the white Benz.

^^You sure? I saw some pretty seriously well done cars in that collection of photos.
Of course the newer domestics are always a joke at those events though.
