Newbie here. I have a CRX but my first love is Miatas. We currently have three:
Captain Slow, my '90 on custom-valves Bilsteins and the usual bolt-ons
B0000ST, wife's '05 Mazdaspeed. Stock other than turbo and intercooler upgrades, plus it rides on Kosei K1 15x7 instead of the heavy stock 17s
This is the Ugly Duckling, our '93 semi-serious autocrosser. The wife and I share driving duties (it's her car).

Just bought this for under $3k. Its a 91 and a factory radio delete car. Came with all documentation, including the original window sticker. The car was ordered with only two options: floor mats and an LSD. By far the cleanest undercarriage of any Miata I looked at and the cleanest factory steel wheels I've seen in the midwest. This car was really well taken care of until a teenager bought it a year ago and parked it outside. Spent all day buffing the oxidation out of the paint. Also had some dumb LED accent lights duct taped in the interior that I pulled out.

For now, just gonna look for a used set of wheels and tires on CL and maybe a few forums. Might do a little autox with her next year. Gotta replace the plastic rear window too. Still not sure which option I'm gonna go with on that one.

Re: Post up MIATA / EUNOS ROADSTER / MX5
just curious...what are the general pros & cons of the na vs. nb chassis (not including engine/trans differences)
Re: Post up MIATA / EUNOS ROADSTER / MX5
na is a tad lighter.
Depends what your goal is? if you want more of a street car I'd get a NB. If you want lighter track only car and don't mind swapping parts around or the look get an na.
also depends on your budget.

I'd say it's the other way around. NB interior has always felt tighter to me. I'm 6'4"ish though but the door cards are bulkier and get in the way of my clutch leg.

NB interior feels much bigger than a na. NB has a nicer interior/dash.
na is a tad lighter.
