Have you been documenting your progress? I say start a thread on several websites. I want to be able to look back when I'm old and feel proud about this build.

Thanks guys!

Yeah those photos didn't turn out the best. It looked so much better in person and that was just in between coats. After some wetsanding and buffing it'll look a lot better! I can't wait to get some pics in natural light when it's all done.

Yeah this guy doing the final bodywork/paint is old school. He's completely restored over 10 cars in that garage.

I was so set on black for years. Then it seemed like all I saw were black 69 Camaros at local car shows, on the net and in magazines. Locally I haven't seen any with this type of red.

I like that shade of red--it has some orange to it alaFerrari F1 cars, and isn't the typical candy apple red you tend to see on restored american iron.

White or black bibs/stripes?

I'm sure it'll look fantastic, regardless. It's difficult to do these wrong in the aesthetics department

I was never into muscle cars, but watching the build is a lot of fun - going from a bare chassis to a car without skipping a single thing on the rebuild. Honda builds are usually just repaint/replace bad parts/aftermarket performance parts.

When I'm older hopefully I can do the same on a 4door teg to rebuild my dream car how I wanted it to be right now.

Looks good viper red! Def. gonna look good with shaved firewall too. At my house everything has to be 100% oem.. a hugger orange/white stripes crossram JL8 69'Z28, a tuxedo black/white stripe 69'Z28, a boiler red/black "bumblebee" stripe 67' SS350. Most days were spent with dad in the garage to restore these, so I know how hard and how much work it is to get these cars right.
