i just spent the last hour and some change going through this thread and i have to say... BAD ***!!!! now with that out of the way, im left confused..for instance what happened to the car being DUMPED and on those crazy offset deepdish wheels...next, i thought you weren't going to use an srt motor? does this mean that all those custom harnesses that you made are now useless? you said you are planning to make 700 to 800ish whp...with that whp you will hit 9's and very possibly 150 mph and i did not see a parachute mount on the back of the cage which will get you kicked right out of the track. and last but not least ive spent more time on this thread than most on here...and ITS A DODGE NEON!!! BRAVO

yeah, see the wheels went on my sedan, so did the dumpedness. i sold my sedan and my brother has the wheels. as far a srt goes, i do have an srt engine, its just that i promised my wife a trip to france so thats where my funds have been diverted towards now. as far as hp #'s go. yeah.......i had to tone down that to 500-600 hp range so i wouldnt HAVE to go with a chute and not have much streetable use< i'd still like to kill some folks on the freeway ya know!!!>
i did however get some dzus fasteners for the bumpers, i just need to work out little things so i can daily it for now

So I'm assuming that Jon is your name then? I wasn't quite sure what to make of dude's comments.
With the engine harness done, it's just a matter of the side motor mount to drop the engine in, isn't it? Unless of course you plan some kind of drivetrain upgrades.

As far as I knew, it was only the side motor mount to physically mount a 2.4 in there.

I have an srt block now. PLUS ITS ALL APART. i am just rockin my SOHC for now. i'm sure i got the only '97 acr witha single cam and a '96 harness so i dont have that retarded fan relay. either way, i keep finding other things to waste my money on, i owe on taxes, trip to europe and a shattered sunroof on my wifes car. my car get further away everyday. it blows but i hope to be rewraping engine harnesses for the neon guys similar to the way Chase McMaster<chase bays> does, so clean i dont think that honda guys should be the only ones....yeah, so if that kicks off, thats extra loot for the car!!.

Haha x2 on the fan relay. It's like $70 from the dealership here. I'm not trying to bust your ***** about the engine. I guess it's better to take your time and do stuff right, and not make other more important aspects of your life suffer because of a project car. Just like to stay updated on this clean build.
