I know Honda's very well. but i just picked up a 4G63 6-bolt block and head. for FREE. but I want to make sure its the turbo block and head. how do I approach finding info on these engines? I've searched and just really confused on the information I have read about.
but what I am clear on is that there should be oil squirter's in the block when I pull the oil pan off to look under there. But what about the head? how can I tell? I will take pictures to be more helpful.

only way to tell on the head is the cams the 2.0 heads are all the same minus the banjo bolt for the stock turbo feedline for turbo. the block should have the turbo return line at the bottom of pan and oil squiters it will also have a turbo specific oil filter housing and the water pipe is different for na vs. turbo 2.0 the vin plate on the front of block near the water pump behind alternator and ps pump should end with t the pistons should also end with t example... 4g63T

Only difference is pistons and the addition of oil squirters, and slightly diffferent cams.
