Has Anyone replaced a 91 Camaro Fuel Pump??
My grandma has a 91 Camaro RS 305 V8 and I am thinking the fuel pump is bad. It clicks under the hood when I go to start it but I do not hear the fuel pump kick on. It will crank but not start. The last time I drove the car it was sputtering and died a couple times. So I am thinking the fuel pump is bad. Does anyone know anything about cutting a trap door in the trunk area to access the pump from the top?? I just would rather do that then have to drop the damn tank. Has anyone ever cut one or know the location I would have to cut??

Check under the carpet in the hatch. Unless its a one owner there is a chance a previous owner has cut a flap to access the top of the fuel tank.... If not, just take the two straps loose and wrestle it around and drop the tank. I done this in a gas station parking lot once, not a huge procedure.
