Did I say to "slam" it? No. It would look nicer with more of a drop as there's still quite a large gap in there. And with those rims, it looks funny because the car comes with stock 15's. Mr2's are small cars, and imo it just doesn't look right with those rims and that tiny drop. It's like back when everyone was throwing 5ZR rims on their civics. I've seen far more superior MR2s around here, most of which have actually been road-raced/auto-x'ed on a regular basis, and they all use smaller rims and a bit more of a drop.
Sorry, but your buddy's setup is not 'perfect'. But again, it is still very nice, especially with that engine swap.

Relax, I still said it looked nice. Thanks for stating the obvious problems that come with an excessively lowered car

and also when i ride in this car it handles incredible.
and to answer the swap question he did the swap himself in his driveway. took him about one weekend to pull it off. i believe the swap is very rare in stateside mr2's

I haven't been in Florida for over a year now, but a guy named Ryan, who use to be independent, but then started working at XAT, knows these things inside out.
Helped me with mine, had a Gen3 swap, 333whp

Yes,
Was a nice little setup I had. Sold it when I was in Tampa to a guy who flew down from VA to buy it.
Also noticed you have LHT in your sig, John is great!
