Re: 08 R32
It's a 3.2L VR6 though, as opposed to the regular 2.8L VR6. Makes 250hp and uses haladex awd.
They are kinda slow stock but respond REALLY well to forced induction.

I think it looks good, and after driving my Dad's stage 2 2010 GTI, I'm really starting to like the idea of a refined "hot hatch". Quiet, tons of options and still plenty fast for a DD.

Re: 08 R32
2.0T GTI is a hell of a fun car to drive at a GREAT price
check this out:

They did a test and a APR chipped GTI with a downpipe and exhaust is just as quick as a R32

The vette wheels aren't bad, but I think you can do better with the newer body style.
I neither like nor dislike VW, but the first pic is absolutely beautiful.

Re: 08 R32
I'd love one for a daily driver/snow trip car but I know how rare and expensive they are.

Re: 08 R32
250hp from a stock 3.2 six cylinder isnt bad. the acura 3.2 tl makes that much. the new R (no longer called the R32) ditches the 3.2L for a 2.0 4 cylinder turbo (also from an Audi TT) which makes 270hp.
i think those corvette sawblades look better on older boxy VWs (they look awesome on boxy E36s). i think C5 or C6 vette wheels would look better.
