3.5L engine hydraulic timing belt automatic tensioner
2011 Honda Odyssey 3.5L hydraulic timing belt tensioner replacement due to noise at start up indicating pending failure. After removel of rear cam cover and 2 bolts from rear of lower cover, I removed the 2 bolts holding the hyd tensioner and it came out easy . Ready to install new hyd tensioner with grenade pin intact, but lobe on the pully tensioner is interfering. Belt going on the rear cam sprocket is tight, but coming off the rear sprocket is loose. Can I rotate the engine SLOWLY by hand until tension is relieved on the belt going onto the rear cam sprocket, thus relieving pressure on the tensioner, allowing the hyd tensioner to be installed easier. OR is there some precaution I can take to prevent untensioned belt from jumping timing as I rotate the engine?

These motors must be perfectly lined up or the belt will not fit on the rear cam double check all your marks and verify the belt is on all the gears correctly
