Re: FYI: WA state Speeding Crackdown
yeah I've been slowing down alot more lately. first time when gas really started going up, i used to drive 80 on the freeway even if it was for only 1 or 2 exits.
I've always been used to driving my old d15 motor, the first week I had my b16 in i was accelerating really fast(cause that's what the b16 tranny is good for) but I could still keep in under the speed limit.
It's easy to not speed once you realize how much it would suck to pay the ticket lol

The police have been cracking down hard on people locally. This damn economy needs to start back up so **** like this doesn't have to happen.
Just two weeks ago I saw someone pulled over by not one or two cops but 3 city cops and 2 state cops. Now when I see someone pulled over, it's always by 2 cops. It's seriously getting out of hand.

With all of the shootings lately, it's kind of nice to have backup.
Follow the laws and you don't ever have to worry

Hi everyone, I'm from BC up north. As I will be coming down to the states with my crew for the Honda-Tech spring meet, just wonder if there is actually any tolerance on the speed limit? Or should I just follow traffic? Thx

Re: FYI: WA state Speeding Crackdown
follow the speeds to the letter. us honda guys are followed around these parts. shoot, back when I was completely stock I had a cop flip a bitch to follow me for over a mile. back when I had a 70 hp d15, complete waste of his time haha. anyways, might aswell save yourself the money and just go the speed limits.
I have been noticing more of the speed ropes on all the main highways, like their seeing where the high speed areas are before they really start to crack down, every time I see one I slow down to under the speed limit hopefully to throw off the numbers so they don't worry about those areas as much

last time i was in washington i found that going 5-10 over is generally ok, though that consensus may have changed.

Watch out for I-90 near issaquah. They hang out right where the speed limit changes from 60 - 70, of course I happened to be going 71mph or so. Got pulled over, I could see the 70mph sign and he still gave me a ticket because I was still in the 60mph zone...

watch out for the 320th St exit in federal way. They have staters parked south bound waiting on their buddy to run radar from the bridge. 5 cops this morning I-5 southbound off of this exit

Re: FYI: WA state Speeding Crackdown
im only worried when they pull me over 4 stupid shiiitttt like loud exhaust, window tint......
they always find a reason to pull u over when you drive a nice Honda. let us live.....
i have nothing to hide but i hate the fact that most cops abuse their authority. i just hate that
