sigh when will ppl in the bay do research on security so many ppl do research on mods but just get basic alarm installs

for everyone reading this desmon (wrx-killer-sti-eater) is coming down from socal up here to install a alarms, he saved my car last week.....find my thread in this section.

please ppl for christ sakes do research and get your **** done right , these places like best buy or any alarm shop TAKE no pride in there job and just stuff alarm sirens where there easily seen they just install as fast as they can and give you false hopes that it will save your car, i can go up to any alarm installed by bestbuy or alarm shops and pull the driver kick panel down and all the BRIGHT *** ALARM wires and the brain are shown right in front of your face, bypassed with some cutters in about 1min..takes longer to pull the kick panel off...

PM wrx-killer-sti-eater hes coming down next week if you cant get a install at least talk with him and see what stuff you can do.

you tell me where you can cut my alarm siren, thats just one little step in the stealth install...yes this is my engine bay please look hard for the siren....well if you gave up its not anywhere in the engine bay. its NOT hidden underneath or anything near the engine, the wires for the siren are no where near the engine bay as well.

now look at a TYPICAL alarm installer....the siren sticks out like a SORE THUMB easily cut that off and your 200$ alarm is a soundless paperweight

iLOLd I was just kidding about the lynching man. I rather put the persons feet in wet cement, wait for it to dry fully then make them grab on to the bottom of the bay bridge and just leave the fker there just hope they don't have Chuck Norris upper arm strength.

That sucks man, I still don't see how anyone can own and mod a Honda without FULL coverage. Its just beyond stupid. Hell my cousin had full coverage on his near stock CX 4 door they stole, they messed some crap up (transmission, plus when the tow truck picked it up it scraped the car onto the truck with no wheels) and took his bunk TSWs and the insurance comped him for $4500+ and the car cost him like $2K to get.

If someone wants your car bad enough, stealth alarm or not, they'll take it. An alarm wont do sh*t for a tow truck or a simple tow hitch. People down in the IE were getting jacked by guys with trucks that had the easy latch tow dollys that all you do is back up to the car and it clamps under the wheels (by itself) and you drive off, you don't even have to get out.

actually i do have full coverage, i hardly consider the car heavily modified. i get what ur saying though.

ALSO CAR WAS FOUND YESTERDAY EVENING BY SAN PABLO PD(probably the same guys that stole the others guy car)

from what the police said on my voicemail, they took my radiator for sure, and some random interior stuff couldn't tell what he was saying. didn't mention anything about the car being on the ground

i will say THANK GOODNESS FOR EXTENDED WHEEL STUDS WITH WHEEL LOCKS!

will take pics and post the damage later

YES, they could take it no doubt, there are ways to slow them down but the thing is you can retrieve your car ASAP I don't mean find it weeks later all stripped but I mean you could retrieve as soon as you find it missing by locating them with a gps tracking device like what WRX killer's setups that he sells, its better than lojack, cops dont have to drive around to get a signal, this system tracks them everywhere they go..until you get it back..its definitely worth it imo.

no offense but its ppl like you that make it easy for thieves to steal stuff with the "if they want it they will get it mentality" WRONG, with a stealth install and added GPS install like said above you will get notified via phone call, text, watever you set up whatever parameter you set . like have it call you when the car is moved 10ft, have it call you when the car is moved 5ft (etc) it provides REAL TIME gps, the same stuff COPS USE IN BAIT CARS,

you add that with your 2way pager and all of that fully STEALTH installed, if you can sleep thru the pager ringing, and your phone ringing then your a dumbass,

the whole if they want it they will get it thing is just for ppl that dont do enough research on security.

im gonna have to agree with C9A1L1L. if theives want it they WILL get it. maybe not no ordinary theives but professionals. there are ways of blocking the gps signal. if you look more into bait cars the police used they don't tell you that not all of them were successful. it all depends who youre dealing with. some mexican kids who want a deck or some real deal oceans 11 peeps. the internet is a very powerful tool.
