The Raffle contest period. The Raffle begins on April 18, 2011 and the online ticket sales ends at 9am PST on July 4, 2011 and the in-person ticket sales ends at or about 1pm PST on July 9, 2011. The winning ticket will be drawn on July 9, 2011 at or about 1:30pm PST.

Winner Need Not Be Present to Win. The Grand Prize Winner of the Raffle does not need to be present at the drawing in order to win.
Grand Prize. The grand prize is a 1959 Rambler American (“Grand Prize”). The contestant selected as the winner of the Raffle will receive ownership of and legal title to the Grand Prize. The Grand Prize does not include taxes, license, title and registration fees, or delivery or transportation costs. The Grand Prize has an estimated value of $30,000. The Grand Prize is nontransferable and non-refundable and must be accepted as awarded in “as-is, where-is, with all faults” condition. Except as expressly stated in these Official Contest Rules, Charity makes no representation or warranty of any kind or character, express or implied, concerning the Grand Prize. The Raffle Grand Prize Winner shall be responsible for all taxes, license, title and registration fees, delivery or transportation costs, and any other costs associated with winning and use of the Grand Prize.
Selection of Grand Prize Winner. One Grand Prize Winner will be selected from all Contestants as follows:
On July 9, 2011, at approximately 1:30pm PST at 348 N. Canyons, Livermore, Ca, the Charities Shepherd’s Gate and Cornerstone Fellowship will hold a drawing and randomly select one Contest Ticket from among all submitted and accepted Contest Tickets. The Contestant owning the selected Contest Ticket will be deemed the Grand Prize Winner. The Drawing will be held as scheduled, regardless of the number of Contest Tickets procured.
The Grand Prize Winner is responsible for paying all applicable income, sales and other taxes associated with winning and use of the Grand Prize. Due to recent changes in the tax law, the IRS requires the Charity to collect federal income taxes upon delivery of the Grand Prize to the Grand Prize Winner. Such taxes shall be based on the appraised value of the Grand Prize, (current estimated value is $30,000 and appraised value will be posted soon), less any amount the Grand Prize Winner has paid for the purchase of his or her Contest Tickets (the “Net Difference”), computed at 25% of the Net Difference to determine the amount of the withholding tax, assuming the Grand Prize Winner supplies the Charity with his or her federal Taxpayer Identification Number (“TIN”). The Grand Prize Winner must supply the Charity with his or her TIN, refusal to do so will require the tax withholding of 33.3% of the Net Difference in order for the Charity to pay the taxes.
The Grand Prize Winner has until August 9, 2011 to pay all required taxes to the Charity, claim the Grand Prize, and meet all other requirements of these Official Contest Rules. If the Grand Prize is not redeemed by that date, or if the Grand Prize Winner otherwise does not meet all requirements of these Official Contest Rules by that date, then the Grand Prize is automatically forfeited and the Charity will select a new Grand Prize Winner at random from among all remaining eligible Contest Tickets. A Contestant so selected as the new Grand Prize Winner will have 39 calendar days after being notified of his or her selection, thereafter to meet all requirements set forth in these Official Contest Rules and take delivery of the Grand Prize. If the new Grand Prize Winner fails to meet all Grand Prize requirements set forth herein and take delivery of the claim of the Grand Prize by the required date, then the Charity will repeat the selection process until a Contestant is selected who satisfies all requirements set forth herein for receipt of the Grand Prize. Grand Prize requirements are met and the Grand Prize is awarded.
All drawing and Grand Prize winner selection results are final. The odds of winning the Grand Prize depend on the number of Raffle Tickets issued and received. For a list of the Grand Prize winner, please visit our website at www.shepherdsgate.org. Winner will be posted by August 1st.
Publicity. Sup Jaime... website looks and the interface is clever! We're meeting with other Marketing plans in mind.. dropping off some posters and postcards to Weksos, NorCal Stylez, N1 Concepts, BLOX and Motorsports Techniques on Friday. We're on a few community event sites and city event sites. Trying to get a couple radio spots on some radio stations.. Logistically working on the setup of the meet so can accomodate this year's flow from the last 4yrs. Let me know if anyone want the HTML code to post the events on other sites. I'll keep it updated.

Re: Classic, Domestic vs Import Meet- Livermore July 9th, 2011
Hi fellas, some PM'ed me and asked what time to roll in, we're there at 6:30AM but people usually start rolling in from 7:30am to 8am to get their cars staged and setup sometimes their canopys, chairs etc. 8am is sufficient enough. *8?)

I want to take the time to thank all the participants who came as the outcome was phenomenal. It was a privilege to meet and speak with you as well as the support for the passion of the JDM cars was truly seen and appreciated. I'm working on the photos and will make it available asap. Like us staff, we all hope you are all recovering from the food comatose and long rewarded day of preparation for our event and we'll be planning again for next years event. The Rambler will still be on display next year as we have determined that we're going to have the drawing at next years event so you still will have a years time to enter the drawing. Aloha for now!
