The campus isnt too bad to park in or navigate your way around, the only thing you have to ask yourself is, which campus will you be taking the majority of classes at? The reason I ask this is because if you plan on taking more per day therefore utilizing less days per week of commuting to college, you want to make sure you park at the campus you have the most classes at and then take the bus elsewhere. You also want to remember that you might have to take the bus to another campus so you'll need to provide yourself adequate time to get to classes.

The campus' are pretty safe for parking and there is lots of it, you may have to do a bit of walking, however, that's how it is anywhere there are 50k students sharing your same educative fervor. Rutgers Newark is horrible in most senses and there is nothing to do there, seriously, you really don't want to worry about your car or anything along those lines while going to school.
