Just found this thread on here.

Living in Gorham Maine (15-20 minutes outside of Portland).

Own a stock 91 CRX DX that I purchased a little while back for $1k. Needed a head gasket and I wanted something to start learning mechanics on.

Originally an Arizona car so body is mint rust wise but lots of clearcoat fading and door dings. All you guys know how nasty the Maine winters are on Hondas. Crappy aftermarket sunroof.

Moved a little while back and didn't have space to store the car so moved it back home to VT and there it unfortunately has been sitting. Got all the parts, just ran into a couple snags along the way :

- Bolt holes in block have corrosion in them. Was thinking of using the original bolts and cutting grooves down the side and screwing them into the holes to clean out the threads.

- Missing a couple of exhaust manifold studs.

Nice to see some nice looking Hondas here in Maine, not to mention some boosted ones!
I will be stoked just to get mine running!

Mine :

Nice Rarely do I see CRXs that clean around here.

Hopefully the cops won't harass you about the tint.

wiring in my lc-1. i'm hoping it's just the harness. ordered a new one up tonight. runs fine with the stock ecu (besides the cel), and i can still make adjustments to the ecu. after putting it in debug mode in crome the car will run without any codes but runs horribly.

it's a cheap conversion harness off ebay some i'm hoping its just something to do with that.

Yeah I wondered about the tint myself. It is a pretty crappy job so I thought about taking it off. It has some bubbles here and there.

We just put a b16 into My buddy Jon's CRX, did an OBD0 to OBD1 convertion, Started the first time we tried, I rewired the whole engine bay, it had a blown OBD0 B18 non-vtec in it, I was pretty stocked that it worked without any issues...then the noise started....bap....bap....bap....bap, pulled the oil pan, shavings everywhere. Looks like the beerings in the bottom end are shot, we havn't pulled it completely appart yet cause were trying to get the importer to warrentee it....we'll see...

If they don't that would be bullshit. They sold and shipped a broken product.

What company did you get the engine from?

Some 2.5" aluminum tubing.. I'm not sure where to buy it, I just had a piece leftover when I made mine. Or if you want, you could buy a piping and coupler kit from eBay without the filter and get a K+N cone. Whatever you do don't buy a name brand intake.. way overpriced for what it is
