89 Accord needs mechanic around Stamford
Hi Guys,
I'm in Stamford and I have a 1989 Honda Accord LX with an A20A 89 hp carbed engine. Only has 105k miles on it. Runs great, gives about 330 miles per tank.
Since this fall it runs like crap when temps drop under 50 degrees and not at all when it drops below 10 degrees. Once it warms up all is well. Can anyone recommend someone good/reliable/not too expensive to work on/look at it?
I looked around online and other A20A engines with this problem had clogged iac valves. I bought one on eBay but can't find where it goes.
Plugs, wires, throttle body were all replaced/cleaned in the summer; and it was seafoamed 2 summers ago. I also have belts, gaskets, and a water pump in storage to be done sometime in the future.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
