we made the drive down to indianapolis to race in this event and was well worth it... well, my body doesn't agree because that meant 10 hours in my CRX! this was a very well organized event with no confusion of when you and your class was up. big thumbs up to these guys! i think there were others from illinois there but i didn't know them. many quick cars from ohio, kentucky, tennessee, georgia too.

Suja 1 Motoring CRX took 1st place Naturally Aspirated class and Suja 1 Motoring Integra took 2nd place Naturally Aspirated class.

has anyone been to any of these racetracks? what did you think about whatever track you've been to? putnam is the closest to urbana but the other three look really interesting. I'd most likely be doing HPDE/track days at them.

Autobahn Country Club in Joliet The only problem is that it is EXTREMELY expensive and from what I remember from it, pretty much Exotics only. It's either 33,000 a year for a member or 2500 for a social member.

I'll watch the video later (can't right now) but from what I remember you paid that fee and could race there whenever you wanted. I'm going to go to the NASA sanctioned HPDE events that are one or two weekends a summer and I'm almost 100% sure that the weekend racers aren't shelling out $2500 just for the privilege of racing there one weekend a year. If you did have the money though that would be great to be able to race all the time.

there are many HPDE days at autobahn also... you can get there for a few hundred bucks pretty often

 

oh another question- is there anything in terms of inspection laws that I have to worry about in Urbana? do they have emissions? i'm trying to decide if it'd be better to register my car out there and have everything switched over to Illinois or to leave it registered in PA

I called you a while ago to tell you I found you two more people one to trade you a 98 type r yellow pluss 6000 and a guy whose willing to pay 13500 instead of the 12k you where asking but I got no response from you lol I even sent texts.
