Default Xentec HIDS Problems?

Has anyone ever had any problems with these. I got a kit in today installed it and one light wouldn't come on at all and the other burnt out in like ten mins. So idk i sent a message to the seller hopefully i can get this taken care of but i was just looking for some feedback on these

My friend Jesse has two sets in his Sedan, for high's and lows. It's been a few years and still no problems. And they were around like.... 35 bucks for each kit or something, totally dirt cheap.

I guess with E-Bay it's all the luck of the draw. But in regards to your problem, check grounds and wiring would be the first step imo, but I've yet to install my set, so....

ive bought like 7 or 8 kits all xentec..i think its the new ballast design my last kit i bought had what they call slim ballast and its been the first one to burn a bulb..all my other kits are good no problems whatsover...all ranging from 2 to 5 years
