Hi everyone,

I was thinking of replacing my stock headlights of my honda city type z. However, before doing so, what are the options and what's the deal between projector headlights and HID? Is there a difference? Thanks nater_1 and prelude1897 for answering my previous question. Thanks!

 

are you talking about just a regular PnP kit and a Retrofit? Well with a PnP kit, light will be scatered everywhere, lots of glare, and hot spots, because most Honda headlights weren't designed for HIDs, so if you have a retrofit done, then the light will be focused onto the street like they're suppose to be and will actually be spread evenly across the road

there are alot of threads in this forum about retrofitting HIDs into stock headlamps, look around a bit and I'm sure you'll find at least three walkthroughs
