Truth.
Cheep, and great quality, I love my kit.
Haven't had any issues, no flicking, they turn on the first time, ballasts are tiny, and easy to hide.

One thing I will say is, I don't care for the relay harness needed for hi/low. It's ugly and without modifaction, it's right in the bay....
But that is it, and that really isn't a issue. A couple hours and you'll never see anything.

all kits are the same quality. All are made in china. Just get the cheapest one off a reputable seller. No point in spending top dollar for chinese car modifications. If you want to go baller like me, retrofit JDM HID headlights. It actually ends up being cheaper in the long run. (the chinese ones fail randomly)

Not entirely true. There are a very small handful who probably produce a much more reliable product. DDMtuning is very popular among many circles, especially motorcycle groups.

If you get white, and a bi-xenon kit you should attract less attention and people won't feel so violated.

anything that's too blue tends to frustrate people immediately.

I would never go over 5000k. 4300k is the best light. After 5k the visibility significantly drops.

Allows to high and lows. And from speculation I would imagine the glare isn't as bad due to the housing often associated with the bi-xenon mechanism.

I think that you would only get low or highs with the cheaper one... ill email/talk to them before i order if i decide on it...

To the OP, sorry to thread-jack, but... looks like you should go DDM =P

edit: actually, it ws in their support section...

How do your HID Hi/Lo kits work?

Our Hi/lo bulbs are telescoping bulbs. They use a single hid bulb that has a magnetic base. You will have to wire a Hi/lo harness with the bulbs. When you turn on your high beams the bulb will move inward changing the beam pattern. The harness will come with the Hi/lo bulbs. The effect of the hi/lo will depend a lot on the headlight you are putting them in. Some headlights may have very little effect due to the reflective properties of their headlight.

the glare can be better or worse with a bixenon kit, depending on the housing. All a (chinese) bixenon kit is, is a HID bulb retrofitted to a solenoid that moves back and forth, and the light shield has a hole in it to simply allow more light through when the high beams are activated. it kinda works.

I will say compared to my last kit from Operatic on here, the glare is a A LOT less with the DDM kit.

His kit was good, but the sheild was the usal size. Very small, and really didn't have much of a change with or without it.

Yea, ignor that.

Computer problems. I am working on loading some right now, but of course my computer is being a piece of crap.
Hopefully, I'll have some good ones in a minute.

And yes, 5000k.

Camera makes the glare look a lot worse then it really is, and they were aimed horribly. I literaly threw them in, and took pic's.
