Default Side Repeaters - positioning lights

Hello,

In the pic attached below, the side repeaters are wired up the same way as the amber corners are - so when the lights/amber corners are on, they are on to - how would you wire this up?

Would be for a 1992 VTI EG.

Cheers, Sam.

side repeaters?? damn people have some weird names for theses things,
spice the wires from the lights into your wires for the parking ligts. if you want them to blink wire all of the wires, or only 2 im pretty sure the turn signel is the green wire.
that will make them turn on and not blink.

Side repeaters, side indicators, etc.

Anymore in-detail explanation, im shocking with electrics..

Need it so like the front amber corners, the indicators on the archs, will be on permantly when you turn the lights on, but when you indicate they will still blink/flash, over the top and be visible.

Your front corner turn signal lamps are large dual-filament, 3-wire 1157 bulbs with a 5-watt and a 21-watt filament. The "side repeaters" (European term for those not familiar) use only a small single-filament, 2-wire 194 wedge bulb with a 5-watt filament.

The 1157 bulbs have 3 wires - power for parking light, power for turn signal, and common ground. To make the side repeaters function as both running lights and turn signals, splice one wire from the repeater to the 1157 parking light power wire. Splice the other wire to the 1157's turn signal power wire. This way the 194 bulb will ground through the 1157 bulb, and will come on when you turn the parking lights on. It will also flash when you use your turn signal. However when you use your signal while the parking/headlights are on, the side repeater will flash alternately from the front/rear turn signals.
