Default Retrofit Integra Headlights Help

I want to retro a set of my 98+ lights for my integra. What else do I need besides bulbs + ballasts + the actual projectors? I am a very impactient person, so I did a search and skimmed the threads; but alot of them were off topic really.

I am having the parts installed for me, so just recommend a set, let me know where they are sold and ill buy them.

What are you talking about? My retrofit does just fine with stock lenses. The cutoff would be slightly sharper with no lenses in front of them, but that's the case with any projector behind a plastic lens.

And no, those 3 little lines on the stock lenses will not make any difference in light output whatsoever.

OP: you'll be just fine with the stock lenses. Otherwise, you'll have to spend another $150+ on aftermarket headlights just to get the lenses off of them to use with your retrofit. Waste of money IMHO.

ok, scratch that yea ive never been worried about the lines, but ive seen quite a few integra retros where the stock lense destroyed the cutoff, but if yours is working, its worth a try. I agree thats an extra 150 that could be spent elsewhere

Well any plastic lens in front of a projector is going to diffuse the light slightly. It's not too bad, though, if you wet sand and polish the lenses to ensure that they are as clear as possible.

^ yea i guess that goes for any lense tho. as for the lines, i just noticed tonite that even the TL has them on the lenses, so all that talk you hear people ranting over about them cant be true.

So what projectors would you recommend for an Integra? I wet-sanded, sealed and polished my lenses and recently got some Xenith 4300K HID's for my 95 LS, and am looking into doing a retrofit, also. The cleaner lenses made a great impact on the light, just wanna see how much of a difference OEM HID projectors from another vehicle will look.

I just finished a retro in my 94 Integra and I kept the stock lenses on and it looks fine output wise, the only thing I noticed is that with the 3 little lines on the sotck lenses it creates a very slight glare that it throws off, but you probably wouldn't notice it unless you are looking for it. Just make sure you clean the lenses real good. Heres a pic of the difference between old faded headlights compared to a freshly retro'ed cleaned lenses:
