Accords have separate low and high beam bulbs, so I'm pretty sure they don't use H4's, which means you can't use the X-treme Power bulbs.

Most likely you have 9006/9005's so you can look into some 9012/9011 HIR bulbs.</TD></TR></TABLE> I was afraid of something like this. I'll look into my lighting situation more later. Thanks for the tip!

who cares man, HIR performs better than the X-treme Power bulbs anyway. If you have 9006 you should be happy that you have HIR as an option.

I'm glad they perform better, I just wanted them to be cheaper. Those are 2x the cost as the X-Treme Power bulbs.

But for higher quality, I guess that's what you pay for. Thank you for the help.

edit: Ouch. It looks like it's 4x the cost? X-Treme was $27 for 2 pair, HIRs $26 per bulb and I'll need 4 (2 hi's, 2 lo's). Bummer.

First, I think you're looking at the prices for the X-treme Power in British Pounds, no US Dollars. The H4 (dual filament) sells for around $40.00/pair, while the H7 (single filament) sells for around $50.00/pair. I'm not sure where you found the X-tremes at $27.00 for 2 pairs.

Second, you really don't need to upgrade the high beams to HIR, since they aren't used that frequently, and most halogen high beams are already quite sufficient.

Yes. I was looking at pounds. Wow, I'm dumb.
Yes. I was looking at price for a single pair. Not two pair. Wow, I'm dumber.
Yes. I shouldn't need the high beams since there's just enough traffic around here so that I can't ever really use them. Wow, I'm even dumber.

Where would I be without Honda-Tech?

H4H is a Japanese-market application, which is why you won't find them. Same reason you can't find H4H bulbs from any other brand in this country.

so i just put some HIR bulbs in last week. I like them, they are better than the piaa's I had, in brightness, and also beam pattern. There is more light shed down on the road, as opposed to just straight ahead (and they are aimed properly).
i had some expensive a$$ piaa lights before, and the HIR definitly outperform the piaa's

So, does anyone know of any good H4H bulbs. My buddy told me the Raybrigs suck? lol. Any opinions on PIAA or Polargs?
