Default LED vs. Chrome (corner bulbs)

I am trying to decide between these or chrome 1157 bulbs. Has anyone here bought bulbs similar to these? How was the light output? How did they look inside the headlight housings? Thanks

Never seen a plug in LED replacement that was bright enough to replace the stock incandescent bulbs.

I run those ricer "chrome amber" bulbs up front in my clear corners. Slightly darker amber than standard bulbs, slightly less light output, never been an issue.

For a 1157, you can also consider the Sylvania Silverstar turn signal bulbs. They look blue/green when off, but light up amber.

You can't even tell they're on during the day with those LEDs.
