I was wondering what are your side markers wired to, your turn signals or headlights? What's different between JDM and USDM style?

 

correct me if im wrong but they should be on with your parking lights.

ummm parking lights and turn signals are 2 completely different things. Pretty much ALL cars have fender-mounted side repeaters wired as turn signals ONLY. The only cars I've ever seen with a fender-mounted side running light (parking light) is the old 1st gen Toyota Rav4's, some old Subaru Legacy model, and of course the newer Acura TL's (which have matching red running lights on the rear 1/4 panels).

OEM Honda side markers are used as turn signals, and should be wired to the turn signals.

Also there is no "USDM style" as USDM Hondas did not have side marker turn signals. IMHO they are a good safety feature, which is why I installed them on my car in the OE location.
