Default Installation of ambient lights

I just installed the Honda factory ambient lights on my 2013 Accord Coupe V6. The instructions say to connect the power plug to the vehicle plug but I cannot find this plug onmy vehicle, it is not where they say it should be. I did find a receptacle on a green module near the location with the same type of recepticle the plug would have, I tried it and the lights do not work. Does anyone have any information concerning this install? The description says the driver can control these lights but there isn't any switch with this kit. There is a recepticle plug on the harness that the instructions do not address, I am wondering if a switch is supposed to plug into it for operation. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Default Re: Installation of ambient lights

I found out the problem, it was the instructions, they are for a four cylinder engine equipped car. If you have a 6 cylinder model you have to remove the plug from the ECO switch and plug it into the receptacle on the harness then plug the plug on the harness into the ECO switch. The lights will now work.
