So I purchased a cheap cluster to basically test my speedo/odometer problem. It solved that problem but the cluster has 3 extra tiny harnesses coming out from it. I figured they are the lights for the guages because its dark when I turn my lights on. It did not come with anything to attach onto these connectors so I was wondering if I can just cut the connectors off, splice them all together so all three are basically 2 wires only and then tape into the factory dimmer switch and run the ground? If so does it matter which wire I use as the power and switch I use as the ground?
